2018 A Angel of the North A-Z 10p Circulated Coin
The Royal Mint has released 26 10p coin designs. Their theme is the A to Z of Britain and each coin combines a letter of the alphabet with an aspect of quintessential Britishness.
This is the first time the Royal Mint has produced a series of commemorative 10p coins.
This 10p features the Angel of the North alongside the letter ‘A’. The Angel of the North is a contemporary sculpture that first spread its wings on 16 February 1988. 20 years later and it is now one of Britain’s most recognisable pieces of public art.
