2018 G Greenwich Mean Time A-Z 10p Circulated Coin
The Royal Mint has released 26 10p coin designs. Their theme is the A to Z of Britain and each coin combines a letter of the alphabet with an aspect of quintessential Britishness.
This is the first time the Royal Mint has produced a series of commemorative 10p coins.
This 10p features a globe design with the letter ‘G’ and represents Greenwich Mean Time. Greenwich Mean Time is the mean solar time at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, London which has been the national centre of time since 1675.
